As part of the regular operation to maintain law and order in Chittagong district, recover drugs and illegal weapons, arrest warranted accused and ensure overall public safety, from the night of 19 November 2025 to the morning of 20 November 2025, 7 teams of Chittagong District Police, 2 special teams of RAB-7, Chittagong Naval Police, and 9 APBN's Chouks team jointly conducted special operations in Noapara, Bagowan, East and West Gujra, Sultanpur, Kadalpur, Raozan UP and Raozan Municipality areas under Raozan Police Station.
At the same time, 17 check posts were operated at different places. This operation against illegal arms holders is continuing to maintain the law and order situation in the district.
Details of weapons recovered by the district police: 8 LGs, 6 rounds of cartridges, 14 knives, 3 ramdas, 2 chapatis, 2 swords, 1 kirich and 1 electric cutter
Action taken by the district police at 17 check posts:
28 motorcycles and 1 truck seized, 37 cases under the Motor Vehicle Act, 5 people arrested for various crimes.

Satkania Police Station Operation
Satkania Police Station conducted a special operation on the night of November 19, 2025 and arrested the accused Md. Tarek and Md. Minarul Alam along with a foreign pistol, 2 shotgun cartridges, 1 iron stick, 3 Android mobiles, 6 button mobiles. There are 4 cases including a murder case against the arrested Tarek.
On the same night, Satkania Police Station arrested inter-district robber Ayub in a special operation. There are 3 robbery cases against him.
Progress in the murder case of Raozan's controversial businessman Hakim:
The Chittagong District Police has already conducted an operation and unraveled the mystery of the Hakim murder case and 6 accused have been arrested. 2 of the arrested accused have given a confessional statement under Section 164 in the learned court.
Details of recovered weapons: 4 foreign pistols, 1 revolver, 1 China rifle, 1 shotgun, 2 LGs, 49 rounds of rifle bullets (7.62), 17 rounds of shotgun cartridges, 19 rounds of pistol bullets (7.65) totaling 85 rounds of bullets 7 magazines, 2 ramdas, 5 knives and 1 motorcycle used in the incident
