Быть магом не означает заниматься колдовством, воздействовать на людей или насылать на них демонов.

Это означает достижение такого уровня осознания, который делает доступным то, что прежде казалось непостижимым.

Понятие «магия» не вполне точно отражает то, чем занимаются маги, как, впрочем, и понятие «шаманизм».

Действия магов связаны исключительно с миром абстрактного, безличного. Они не направлены на управление другими людьми или достижение обычных мирских целей.

Маг сражается за достижение цели, не имеющей ничего общего с желаниями обычного мира.

Это путь внутренней дисциплины, расширения восприятия и выхода за пределы привычного понимания реальности.

Маг стремится достичь бесконечности и при этом оставаться в полном осознании.

Не потерять себя в неизвестном, а, напротив, обрести состояние, в котором сознание способно воспринимать то, что находится за пределами обыденного опыта.

MAGIC AS A PATH OF AWARENESS

To be a magician does not mean practicing sorcery, influencing other people, or sending demons upon them.

It means reaching a level of awareness that makes accessible what once seemed incomprehensible.

The concept of “magic” does not fully describe what magicians practice, just as the concept of “shamanism” does not fully describe it either.

The actions of magicians are connected exclusively with the world of the abstract and impersonal. They are not directed toward controlling other people or achieving ordinary worldly goals.

A magician struggles to achieve a goal that has nothing to do with the desires of the ordinary world.

It is a path of inner discipline, expanded perception, and moving beyond the limits of habitual understanding of reality.

A magician seeks to reach infinity while remaining in complete awareness.

Not to lose oneself in the unknown, but, on the contrary, to attain a state in which consciousness is capable of perceiving what lies beyond ordinary experience.

Perhaps this is why the true path of a magician does not begin with the desire to possess power, but with the willingness to move beyond oneself.

Not to control the world, but to understand it.

Not to subjugate the unknown, but to come into contact with it.

Not to seek power over others, but to expand the boundaries of one's own awareness.

The path of the magician does not lead to power.

It leads to infinity.
